About me:

I got my first Dental Technician job from a temp agencyin in 2010, working for Oral Arts in Huntsville, AL. Coming from an unusual mix of art and science background, they decided to give me an unusual position as an assistant to the VP. I was thoroughly trained, and let loose to learn a little bit of everything, which has served me well later in life. Policies I implemented saved the company $250K in the first year, and I got to work with the newest technology of the time - 3D printing. I also learned how to bid for federal contracts and optimize boat routes with respect to tides. I moved to Portland in 2013 and got a job in the digital department at Artisan. In 2015 I was hired to start a lab for a dentist, which folded in 2019, due to changes in business objectives.

I started a partnership in 2020, and went off on my own in 2022. I do everything myself, from the pickup and manufacture to the delivery, so you know exactly who is working on your case. I've worked at the big labs, so I know the importance of knowing exactly where your case is and who is working on it. I maintain a small client base so that I can put into each case the care that it deserves. Here, at Youkey Dental Lab, I know that every case is the most important case to the client, and treat every case like it were my own.
